Leitz iD Mount Announced – Static /i Metadata for HUGO and SUMMILUX-C Lenses
Leitz Cine introduces the iD Mount, an optional lens mount that adds a metadata interface to HUGO and SUMMILUX-C lenses, letting compatible cameras record lens name, focal length, serial number, distortion map and shading map with every clip. Priced at €500, it can be factory-installed on new lenses or bought as an upgrade for lenses already in the field, and requires no additional camera license or special configuration on systems that already support /i metadata.
